Is the LDAP User Experience Monitor only applicable to Windows OS?

We have a few Solaris hosts that're running LDAP and we'd like to use the LDAP User Experience Monitor for this. However, it seems that WMI Access is a prerequisite for this monitor. That being said, is it safe to assume that this monitor is only applicable to Windows servers?

This is a long shot - but would anyone have insights on how to monitor LDAP on a Solaris node?
