access WHD with active directory credentials

hello

i am trying the web help desk

i synced my active directory and authentication is set to help desk yet cannot login with any active directory user

i go to hostname:8081 , but keeps getting incorrect username or password ( domain\user )

i am able to create new accounts though

what to do ?

few restarts fixed the issue

If your Authentication Method Type is set to Web Help Desk then is will expect the username or email address which is defined in the Technician setup record, depending on what is set in Setup > Clients > Options > Client Login Attribute.

If you want to use network logins then you will need some sort of Sync in LDAP Setup to bring across say sAMAccountName from your LDAP / AD. I don't think WHD can handle the domain\ part anyhow.
