Our company uses Grafana for many of it's dashboards, both for IT metrics and business data. We'd like to have Orion information for key circuits displayed on the Grafana dashboards. Has anyone tackled the task of getting Orion data to display in Grafana? How did you accomplish this?
I figure we have multiple ways of doing this. There is a Grafana plugin that will talk to SWIS, so we could go that route. The plugin hasn't seem to have been touched in a few years and some comments say it doesn't work with the newer versions of Grafana. The other route would be to export Orion data into Prometheus or Influxdb, if there wasn't a direct way for Grafana to work directly with Orion. Of course, there is also going directly from Grafana into the Orion SQL database.
Looking for someone who might have done this already and has some experience as to what to do or what to not do.
