How do I allow users to view a map?

Hi all,

Having a HUGE issue with Orion. To the point I'm ready to turn the thing off. We've only used it as admins in the past. However, we have users who insist on logging calls because they have useless systems and say the network is down. I'm trying to create a view so a certain AD group can see an individual map. I've added the AD group, and assigned a dashboard to that group. I can see the map fine, but I want these users to log in, and get a set dashboard with nothing other than the map of their devices.

All instructions say to add a maps widget to the dashboard, but I don't have a maps widget (see below). Am I just to assume the new front end doesn't work, and to go back to the network atlas and create a view in there?

There is not a Map Widget for the Modern Dashboards yet. Vote - Modern Dashboards - Maps - Feature Requests - The Orion Platform - THWACK (solarwinds.com)

Yet SW website, gives instructions on how to add the map widget.

Those instructions will work great for the regular classic View.
