Appinsight for SQL - Unable to establish SQL connection

Hello,

We have some database monitored with AppInsight for SQL and some of them are in unknown status with a message like

Unable to establish SQL connection, check credentials. Login failed for user 'xxxxx'.

i'm looking to create a report on all the database with this kind of message.

Do you know where i can find this message using SWQL or SQL ?

This will be very useful to help troubleshoot the SQL monitoring.

Hi there,

I don't have any SQL databases that are in the same status, so can't confirm but I think the Orion.APM.CurrentApplicationStatus table is probably the right one:

Something like this SWQL query would probably work to display all the Errors related to AppInsight for SQL:

SELECT TOP 1000 ApplicationID, Availability, TimeStamp, LastTimeUp, ErrorMessage, LastSuccessfulPoll
FROM Orion.APM.CurrentApplicationStatus cas 
where cas.Application.Template.DisplayName = 'AppInsight for SQL'
