Trying to customize tiles in the Portal Designer

How can I or is there a way to create a custom tile to point to a specific category from the Service Catalog?  For example, if we wanted to add Facilities to our Service Desk, can we create a tile that points just to the Service Catalog for Facilities?

Yes absolutely, we're doing the same thing in our instance.

Open your end user portal view in a new tab or window and then navigate to the Service Catalog in the portal

   

Next, select the category you want to link to. You'll notice that the URL in the browser changes from example.samanage.com/catalog_items.portal to something like https://example.samanage.com/catalog_items.portal?category=5555555

That new URL will always link to the selected Category, so you can use it on the custom tile in the Link box.
