Hi all, Looking for info on how to setup a servicedesk or NOC view. The SW website and documentation makes no sense. All I want to show on it is a custom map and a list of nodes/hosts that are down.
Any pointers?

Can you share the links and documentation you are referring too? Perhaps what is difficult to understand?
Are you looking to create a sub-view off the main summary page or a completely new standalone view? If you access Settings > All Settings > Add New View, you should be able to create a new Summary view.
You can use Customize Menu Bars to establish where you want this view to be visible from.
If you have created a map Using Orion Maps, add the Orion Map widget, and specify your map. You could use a variety of different widgets for the other side such as All Nodes, Nodes with Problems, Status Summary, and so on... keeping in mind that custom properties will likely be a vital ingredient if you are looking to visualize a specific set of entities. Otherwise you may just be ensuring that "Down" nodes are represented. Something as basic as the following:
Another option for the "Down Nodes" might be to actually use Orion Maps again. This time, create a Group, and use a Dynamic Query to populate the group, where the condition is down nodes. Then create a map with the one group as the entity on the canvas. You could customize the icon, add some text, whatever you need, and then add that map to the dashboard as well. This may be handy if you have people trying to view the information from a NOC screen.
