We are also going to migrate our current Web Help Desk system (deprecated CentOS) to a new server (Windows Server 2019). Our management group wants to initially do trial runs of the migration process to test it, so we don't want to deactivate our license on our current production WHD server until we are ready to complete the migration.
I am not sure and trying to find out, how this will work. I'll be following the documentation for this (https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/WHD/Content/HelpDeskMigratingApplication.htm). I wanted to find out if there were any other specific documentation relating to this? Is it necessary to stop the current production WHD server to perform the migration? Any other gotchas that may be helpful?
