Wireless AP names and serial numbers

Hey Guys. I hate to be so vague but I need help working out what tables contain the info to pull APs Serial number.. I swear I have been through every table in Orion but can't seem to work out which one I need.

I found the AP names etc in Orion.Packages.Wireless.AccessPoints and it has a ID field that should relate back to some table with the Service Tag but for the life of me I just can't find it.

What brand of AP's do you have? Most serial numbers are contained in the Orion.HardwareHealth.HardwareInfoBase, but when I do a look at what vendors I have in there its only a fraction of the vendors I have, and Aruba is not in there. Might be vendor specific as to what it maintains...

VMware Inc.

CISCO but it doesn't show APs at all. I do see routers and switches there (and everything else). Also, the IDs would overlap.

Here's a SWQL query I made that integrates model and serial info for you Cisco APs. Obviously you can modify the columns of the table as you want. I just left all the standard tables in for this.

You have to add custom pollers to your WLCs for the following OIDs.

1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.1.1.17 - Serial

1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.1.1.16 - Model

1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.1.1.3 - Name

@wesleykparker - can you share how you created / made the custom pollers please?

Did you create one for each OID or did you somehow manage to roll them up into one? Better yet, can you export and share them please?

Here's a revised query. This can be used on a dashboard view to see all APs on all WLCs or can be added to a Node view page for the WLC to see only the APs on that controller. It's also fully searchable.

Thanks for the query, seems something has changed from time you made it and values are now not in CustomPollerLabels table but in CustomPollerStatus.
