Empty Groups show Up for status?

One of my network engineers decided it would be easier to delete all the nodes for a region and add them back in rather than just fix the SNMP community string.  So, now I'm left with 10 groups that are completely empty.

I was trying to find the empty groups, but they all show up.  Aren't they supposed to show 'Unknown' if they're empty and there's nothing in there to say whether the group is up or down?  Has anyone else seen a similar issue?

I've seen this same issue, where a group is created with members and then the members are removed and the group still shows up. I've also created a group based a dynamic query, where nothing matched the query and the status of the group was unknown. Perhaps someone from SWI can chime in.
