Cisco Access Points deleting from database when down

We are currently utilizing Cisco controllers to manage many different Cisco access points that we have across our enterprise. I have noticed that the AP disappears from Solarwinds when it disassociates from the Cisco controller. Is there a way to have Solarwinds show the AP as down instead of deleting it? How should I be doing this?

I have found the answer to this issue.

In Solarwinds version 11

You can change the "RemovedDisappearedAPs" value to "False" in Solarwinds.Wireless.Collector.dll file. This will force Solarwinds to show the AP as down instead of deleting it from the database.

In Solarwinds version 12

Append /Admin/AdvancedConfigurationGlobal.aspx at the end of your Solarwinds web console URL. Then uncheck the flag for the "RemovedDisappearedAPs".

The one downfall to making this change is that Solarwinds will not delete the APs from the database when you remove them. You will need to manually remove them from the Solarwinds database.
