Does anyone know where I can find a legend for the Message Center? Particularly looking for one that shows the severty of syslog messages.

Yellow = warning

I don't think this is 100% accurate to syslog messages in the message center though because for example the blue triangle with the zigzag (technical term ) indicates nothing in the type or ID columns and I am getting those from a device (WLC in this case) reporting syslog messages. I would presume Solar Winds has something that would correlate each level of syslog received with a specific icon. Among general understanding, I am also trying to determine if I should consider changing the logging level to tune out more noise. I can play with it to see what icons go away or appear with different levels sent, but was hoping for something a bit more exact. These also are more descriptive about what might be going on, what I would like is just a "syslog message level X get's icon Y".
Yeah I agree with you. I did notice that the blue triangle wasn't really represented well in the icons legend.
I do like your suggestion though, you should create a Feature Request for this.
Filtering out in the Syslog Manager is a good idea. I spend some time looking at what came in and what I deemed was important. I ended up filtering out a lot of syslog 4 to 7's. I have a rule that emails me all of the 0, 1 & 2 syslogs. Everything else is customized like power and linecard failures etc.
