Hi guys,
Whenever listing resources on nodes with several hundred interfaces like core switches i get the following popup:
Has anything changed in the way one interacts with Orion in IE?This error never came up before
Regards,
Deltona
I am having the same issue on Juniper MX-960s (thousands of interfaces). This has only occured since upgrading to NPM 10.2. I have opened up an urgent support ticket as call through testing on this device starts next week. Tech support CASE #295996-
I've tried adding the MX960 on stand alone Dell 2950s and Virtual Pollers both from my desktop and from the servers themselves.
I really ... Really.... REALLY miss SYSTEM MANAGER. We are now forced to use IE - I'm using Version 8 by the way. SW no longer works with <8 -
We get the "stop running script" in IE 8 as well
And what about other browsers e.g Firefox? Have same issue or not?
Is that in 10.2.1 or the 10.2.0?
Any news about that case?
I have the same error NPM 10.2.1 IE 8 when listing resources on Cisco 6509 with many interfcaes (around 400).
I do not have the error in firefox.
I can't get it to work in FF v5
What version of firefox you use?
Same problem here. I just upgraded to 10.2 and I cannot access any of my device resources.
I'm also using IE8.
Did anyone get any updates or fixes for this?
Has anyone opened a support case about this? There isn't anything that should have broken this in 10.2 for IE8. For those of you having problems in IE8, did you try with other browser such as Chrome or FF? Do you experience the same issue?

Just upgraded to 10.2 and am now having the same issue with IE8. OK via FF
I am at 10.2.2 and i have the same problem but seem only when listing resources on Chassis based devices with more than 48 ports.

Which are you experiencing these issues on? FF, IE, Chrome? Also, did you try the steps listed above from support?

I am using IE 8 only. The fix above from microsoft does prevent the "Stop Running this script" but the page reacts different than previous versions.
For example the page gets stuck at Wait and is not spinning. and the Interfaces Discovered does not increment. If you have a lot of interfaces you may thing the page is frozen and close and try again.
If you wait the inerface selection page will show up.
