Change Detailled Statistics retention for spesific node or groups?is it possible?

Hi Community,

I am using Detailed Statistic Retention settings by default (7Days). But I want to change it for some nodes or groups. Is it possible?

My purpose in this situation; I want to reach my historical data with detailed statistic (for example 1 minutes) for only spesific nodes or groups.

The retention periods are not able to be set on a per node basis, only the polling intervals and thresholds are able to set to override the global values.

You're not the first one to wish for this feature. Unfortunately, it's been all or nothing--we're forced to set everything for six months or six years or six days, with no option to prioritize what information is most important for longer retention or greater detail.

There are several Feature Requests and hints and suggestions to Solarwinds for how much we'd all like a data warehousing solution that would accomplish these exact tasks.

Maybe someday . . . It seems like there'd be an option to prioritize or de-prioritize stats based on some easily defined and clickable criteria:

The element description contains "uplink"
The interface name contains "access" or "core" or "distribution" or is a port-channel
The statistic is part of a report that's been modified or enabled

There are many things that Thack members can imagine would be useful ways to identify ports for which long-term data tracking is more desirable than less important ports.
