Problem while adding a route to F5 BigIp version 9

I want to add a route for outbound traffic from BigIp v9. I have WANem machine configured which simulates the network traffic and want to add this as a router between BigIp9 virtual server and Client. This WANem is running on Knoppix 5. I have tried below ways to add:

1. Adding route by BigIp GUI from menu Netwok -> Route

2. I created a pool having member as my WANem machin IP and created a wildcard virtual server which uses the pool.

However I am not able to see the traffic going through WANem machin to client.

Please suggest me any workable suggestion.

It sounds like what you want to do is set the WANem machine as the default gateway for the BIG-IP and not configure it as a pool.

Before we go further, can you verify the flow of traffic (based on step 1, in which I assume the WANem machine is configured as the default gateway for the system):

client ---> router ---> WanEM machine ---> BIG-IP ---> server

there is no problem with Client -> WANem -> BugIP virtual server

I am facing problem with Virtual server -> WANem -> Client. When I check the WANem status its not showing any byte throught WANem.

I'm checking with someone who has a bit more experience in this area, but in the meantime ...

There is no byte throughput on the WANem at all? Not even inbound? Is the client on a different network than the BIG-IP and being routed through the WANem as well?

From Client machine to BigIp virtual server, traffic is going through WANem machine. However, from Virtual server to Client its not going through WANem though.
