Interface Types to Import page empty - NPM 10.2

Hi guys,

Just installed NPM 10.2 on a freshly installed server. New database too.
After scanning a scope for nodes using both snmp, icmp and wmi i get 99 nodes found - OK!
When i get to the Interface Types to Import page, I get nothing in the the list. It is completely empty.

Is this normal?

Turns out an GE SNMP card for one of our UPS'es caused the crash in the records when being polled by Orion.

When excluding it from the discovery list, the interfaces are listed fine.

Off the top of my head, I'd say the answer is no, that's not normal. However, there are a couple things to check.

NPM can only find interfaces on devices that are support the SNMP credentials you've entered. It could be a credentials issue. It could be that SNMP is not enabled on the device(Windows doesn't have SNMP enabled by default, for example). If we've discovered the nodes via ICMP or WMI, we won't be able to find any interfaces.

So first I'd check to make sure SNMP is working with the credentials you've specified(try manually adding a node). If SNMP is working as expected, open up a support case and we'll get you sorted out ASAP.

Seems very odd, though, that a brand new installation found 0 interfaces from 99 nodes where at least 90% of them are snmp enabled.
Looking forward to discovering what the issue is.
