Event MSG mystery. "NAME_6509-inband- user defined bandwidth changed"...

We are recieving many events from a 6509 that include the following...

inband User defined Transmit Bandwidth changed from 10000000 to 6000000000 bps

inband User defined Receive Bandwidth changed from 10000000 to 6000000000 bps

inband- Configured Interface Speed changed from 6000000000 to 10000000 bps

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now these errors bounce back and forth. There are no changes coming from the switch configuration, anyone have any idea as to what the issue may be?

When I upgraded to 8.5.1 all of my user-set bandwidths reset to the ones snmp picks up and I had try to reset them all. Some will not reset and I have an open ticket on this issue. Perhaps your issue is related to the same cause, but I am sorry you are also having an issue with the interface bandwidth settings. -Debbi

I am having this issue on all my switches and cannot pin it down. Has anyone resolved this yet?
