Hello fellow THWACKIANS!
I have a question with regards to this setting in the polling settings section of NPM
Do not HTML encode polled data (less secure) - what does this do and whats the benefits of enabling this option?
Thanks!
I don't think this tells more than we already know (encoding=more secure), but nonetheless it's the documentation for your question:

Disable HTML Encoding for Polled Data
HTML encoding provides added security for polled data in the web console.
Hmmm interesting lol i wonder if disabling this option would speed up the browser?
HTML encoding provides added security for polled data in the web console. it for A security vulnerability that allows HTML encoding.
Thank you , but If the server is secured ( in a secured network) does this add security add overhead when using NPM via a browser?
yes
