Advanced alerts and the variable for ApplicationAlertsDataDetailsURL

Background - I have setup a new alert for an application being monitored with APM. I have the trigger action email message inserting a direct link to the view within Orion APM.

The question I have is - Can you have the URL use an FQDN instead of the Orion servers hostname:80?

Example:
swserver:80/.../View.aspx
would like to be
sw.company.com/.../View.aspx

I don't see what is the problem-

If you are generating the link text using the nodeID, you can have the link be whatever your browser can handle.

ex: Click http://abc.dec.glsjdaf/Orion/NodeDetails.aspx?netobject=N:${NodeID}&viewid=2 for more info about ${NodeName}.

The browser/mail client is the one in charge of making that a proper link.

The issue is that the variables within Advanced Alert manager do not create the FQDN -- as an example, the email from Alert Manager contains the following variables:

Node Details URL: ${Node.NodesDetailsURL}

App Details URL: ${APM:ApplicationDetailsURL}

Acknowledge URL: ${AcknowledgeURL}

What we get from Solarwinds in the alert emails is this:

NodeDetails URL: http://abc-def:1111/Orion/View.aspx?NetObject=N:732

App Details URL: http://abc-def:1111/Orion/View.aspx?NetObject=AA:265

Acknowledge URL: http://abc-def:1111/Orion/Netperfmon/AckAlert.aspx?AlertDefID=e7d71d23-f18a-4e27-bc81-096da087ede9:265:APM:+Application&viaEmail=true

In my situation, I need the url to be: http://abc-def.company.com:1111/

Ah, you are looking up URLs directly from the variables.

I thought you were using NodeID to just get the number at the end.

Why don't you try that? As in, prewrite all the link text and just use ${NodeID} to fill the variable part (or whatever ID is needed- not sure if you can get the AlertDefID though).
