Unmanage nodes doesn't work after upgrade to 9.1 SP3

Question

Hi,

I have recently upgraded Orion in our two geographical locations to 9.1 SP3 and i could see issue in both the instance where i am not able to unmanage any devices

I am able to manage the devices using the System manager in the server

Can you help? Is this a knowwn bug?

Did any of you have the same issue?

Unfortunately I am unsure which is the correct place to look at. But I am suspecting some files with the name "NodeManagement". There several. If you are good in scripting too, theres also a script names datepicker (C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\js\jquery) which you should take a look. I'm a poor scripter, so my progress is like 200%+ slower...

Hi Chandru,

it is not a bug, but more of a scripting problem. Not sure what time zone did you set for your orion servers, but for mine, I got 3 Orion servers, all set to GMT time. When you try to unmanage nodes via the web UI, the script will read the time from YOUR desktop - ie GMT is 7am, but your desktop time is 1pm, so the time input will be 1pm.

I have made known to the support team and hope that they will build an option for selecting GMT time vs Local time. But for now, I suggest you set the time of unmanage to 12am-1130pm (the whole day). I'm still looking at the scripting part, and I do hope some scripting expert can offer a helping hand too =)
