Editing maps on the web interface

At work, rather than make an admin account my boss gave my Orion account permissions to edit nodes and edit maps (for creating maps in Atlas).  I'm able to create the maps in Atlas and import them in the map  library just fine. Where I run into an issue is when I try and edit the page layout of group that I made for that map. I can go in and make have it display the "maps" window on the page but when I try assign the particular map I want to it, I get an error saying that I need admin privileges. So would this mean that I'd actually have to have a full admin account to do it? or rather, does he have to go in and make the change?

If he does not want to make you an admin, your boss will need to give you the ability to customize views, as follows:

1. Log into the web console as an admin.
2. Click Settings in the top right corner.
3. Click Manage Accounts in the Accounts grouping.
4. Check your account, and then click Edit.
5. For Allow Account to Customize Views, select Yes.
6. Click Submit.
