Feature Request: Several Requests for Account Management

Questionario

I am missing a few useful functions with the user management:

1.) limited users being able to change their password

2.) password policies

3.) force password change on next login

4.) User groups

5.) being able to copy a user

The views for accounts are very flexible, however I think also difficult to manage if you have a lot of users with different views.

So let's dig into this some more.

#1 - you can control which users can change their password and which cannot in 9.5, you can add it or remove it from the menu bar they see

#2 - what type of password policies

So do you prefer to use AD rather than Orion?

#1 - Would I just have to give them the menu bar button "Admin"?

#2 - Something where I can restrict users from using something like Welcome01 and instead force them to use upper and lower case as well as special characters like $@# etc.

I do prefer to use AD rather than Orion as we already have those policies in place there and it would mean one less password to remember for everyone.

#1 so if you customize menu bars you can add and remove options they can access. One of the options you can add is reset password, which allows them to change their password via the web console and then you can have custom menu bars for different users or user groups

#2 - we have that as an enhancement request to enforce strict password. You can look to use our Windows pass-thru integration till we add true AD integration
