Hi Team,
we are planning service now integrate with solarwinds.
I saw option available in service now(ALL SETTINGS -->Manage service now instance)
any one please guide to me.
We are using NPM-12.3
Thanks and Regards,
Kishore.
You can find documentation on how to do that here: How to Integrate ServiceNow with the Orion Platform - Video - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
and here: https://store.servicenow.com/$appstore.do#!/store/application/28d51d460f129a006d9cb17ce1050e6c/1.0.11?referer=sn_appstor…
This PDF explains how to integrate alerts: https://store.servicenow.com/appStoreAttachments.do?sys_id=9ce61e24db37c7003b7e5e98dc96198c
In addition to this free connector, there are also third party software packages that may have more functionality, but I have no experience with those.
Good luck
Andreas
Thank you Alang for prompt response and solution.
We have already installed service-Now. we can use the that URL or we will download new URL from store.
Please confirm.
I am not sure I understand your question. ServiceNow is a cloud based SaaS application. Your URL to access ServiceNow will not change. The only thing you do is to install the Solarwinds integration module from the ServiceNow store into your existing system. Please read through the documentation in the links, it explains in great detail what you have to do. One nice feature of this solution is that you only need to install the module/plugin in your ServiceNow and create a user role with the required permissions, everything else is configured from the Solarwinds side.
Good luck!
