Does anyone see data in their UCS FI 6248 or 6296 power supply hardware health resource?

Please post a pic

I can see the OID in the snmpwalk but still do not see the 6248 or 6296 power supply resource data being populated. Chassis power supplies are indeed shown when clicking through to each chassis detail page.

Hi bluefunelemental,

what version of NPM do you use and what is the OID you are looking for? Hardware health monitoring uses Cisco-Entity-Mib, Cisco-Entity-Sensor-Mib and Cisco-Envmon-Mib and is supported from NPM 10.4.

10.6 and I am told the UCS fabric interconnect summary page uses entitySensorValueTable [1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.91.1.1.1]

Which I can confirm has a value in the snmpwalk.

If you have a 6248 or 6296 can you post an image of the FI powersupplies status resource?

Hi,

UCS fabric interconnect summary page is just a Node details (if you did not customize it) and I suppose you are talking about Curent Hardware Health resource here, which shows also Power Supply. This is Hardware Health resource which has nothing to do with UCS at all. To enable HWH polling on the node, go to List resources and check Hardware Health Sensors check box. You should see the PSU on the details then.
