For info I can only assume sometime during my recent upgrade to NPM 10.5.0 two of my Universal Device Pollers reset their SNMP Type from 'GET NOW' to 'GET' - It took ages to find out why they were no longer polling!
By 'GET NOW' you mean 'GET NEXT'?
Do those UnDPs keep historical data? If so can you confirm polling has stopped after the upgrade?
Sorry my typo' yes it should have read 'GET NEXT'
It appears the historical data stopped right about the time of upgrade. One caveat I will mention is that the upgrade process may have been interrupted by an unplanned server shutdown.
NPM 10.6.1.
Sympton: UnDP Chart stopped displaying data.
Cause: UnDP historical data "got unchecked", it had stopped collecting after SolarWinds Tech Support ran the configuration wizard earlier this afternoon.
Fix: had to re-enable "Keep Historical Data", lost hours of data.
Hi,I have tested the upgrade to NPM 10.5 and the settings for UnDPs remained the same.
emorillo2 or supersub do you still have database backup before the upgrade?
- Could you please provide export of table [CustomPollers] ?
- Also please describe NPM version from which the upgrade was performed.
If you consider the data as private send me private message. I'll try the upgrade with the original data if it will be possible to induce.
