ASA Failover Status w/ Alerting?

After some hunting, I was able to add Failover status monitoring on some paired ASA units ([url=]Previous thread on ASA monitoring). I still have a couple questions.

Is it possible to remove the "CiscoASAcfwHardwareInformation - Label" From the table? I would much prefer to just have the Hardware info and Status.

Also, I would like to set up an Alert, so I will be notified when the status changes from "Active Unit" to "Standby Unit". So I would be able to investigate the cause of the ASA failing over. I'm having a difficult time trying to match the right Trigger Condition's.

Would anyone have any advice on how to set up the alerting portion correctly?

Without scheduling an outage to confirm if this alert works, Does this look like I'm on the right track to setting the appropriate triggers on this?

Looks like you are on the right track. I was only able to walk down to cfwHardwareStatusValue (3). Looks like you are seeing one OID lower.

What is that lower OID? Wat are the possible values?

It only allowed me to drop down to 3 as well, so I manually added the .6 value. When I did that and added the Status trigger, It gave me a drop down with a few values to choose from (0,1,2,9,10,17,23,27,28...a few others)

.6 is the numeric value given to determine the status (Active unit, Standby Unit)

I couldn't track down a reference of what each value would represent, so I couldn't confirm if this is correct or not.

Looks like 4.7 and 4.6 and 3.6, 3.7 flip status upon failure. I betting it is from .9 = active and .10 = standby. So you might want to alert both - one turned active, the other turned inactive.
