WMI and SNMP polling

I have always used SNMP for polling, but I need to collect the disk metrics not provided by SNMP. I switched polling for a windows server over to SNMP and was disappointed that I lost the capability to monitor interfaces. I can see that there's a feature request for this and saw mention of some using "SNMP Informant Standard" to achieve this, but I've never heard of that before. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to achieve the desired monitoring?

Different polling methods return different types of data.

Thanks for the input aaguilar! I had heard that SAM would allow me to achieve the desired results. We don't have SAM, just NPM and VMAN currently. I am actually able to receive the disk metrics shown in your screenshots with SNMP polling, hoever to get the disk queue length and avg disk sec/transfer resources to populate with data, I had to switch to WMI polling. That is where I lost the ability to monitor any network interfaces on the VM.
