How to send Syslog Message as an Email Alert? [New Log Viewer Enabled]

Hi Guys,

I need your guidance/support in order to send an email when there is syslog message received in Solarwinds new log viewer (ex:any CISCO devices). Since I couldn't find the proper way to do that. Furthermore, I need that email to contain all the necessary syslog information with it. Kindly can anyone let me know how to achieve this?

Go into syslog viewer

Select Syslog, My Custom Rules

Create New Rule

Configure up the rule and this includes creating an alert for the rule.

Once finished, open up the alert and in the trigger email, use the following in the email body.

${N=OLM.AlertingMacros;M=OLMAlertMessage.EventMessage}

That sends the whole syslog message.
