Having an Issue Linking Thwack and Customer Portal for Thwack Points

Seeing that you can link your Thwack and Customer Portal accounts for 2000 Thwack points. I tried following the documentation on Thwack but it must be old as the steps it tells you to take are no valid. Any ideas?
