Agent 1.1.726.0

Recently updated to Orion NPM 11.5 and noticed all agents had stopped working.

I assumed that this was due to a failure of the update to the latest agent. So I started to reinstall the agent MSI manually.

On all machines, regardless of O/S, I receive the following error during installation:

Has anyone else experienced this?

Afternoon!

Are you seeing anything in the event logs on the target machine? Check the 'SolarWinds.net' logs also, they might give you some pointers as to what's going on.

Also, have you tried uninstalling the old agents completely, and then installing the newer versions? If so, do you have the same problem?

Nothing in the SolarWinds.net logs in eventviewer.

All I see in eventviewer application logs is "Product: SolarWinds Agent 1.1.726.0 -- Installation failed."

All agents have been completely uninstalled and directories cleared. It also happens if I change the default directory.

This problem is identical to SAM 6.2 RC - How to remove the Beta Agent Registry Values

Looks like I need to open a case.

Another thing that comes to mind:

Does the user/credentials you're using to deploy the agent have admin rights on the servers you're deploying the agent to? As you're seeing the wizard end screen I assume so, but it's worth checking before you raise that support call.
