UCS Credentials Over 443

Does the new NPM UCS integration work over port 443? I could not get the login to work until I enabled HTTP and used port 80 in the configuration. I have imported my own Key into UCS so I dont get certifcate errors but would be surprised if that alone would break this. I am also using SNMPv3. I would rather not have HTTP enabled if at all possible.

When you add a UCS node manually in Orion and check the UCS checkbox, there is a dialog to specify the port

This did not work for me. I had to enable HTTP in UCS and then set the port to 80 then the test authentication worked.

Did not work for me either, seems we have to have http enabled, adn using port 80.

Seems like the requirement is for HTTPS support and not only port change. In other words, changing the port to 443 is not sufficient to run HTTPS with the UCS (only HTTP is supported today).

I am opening a enhancement request for HTTPS support with the UCS (which happens to run on port 443 by default). (43116)

Can you elaborate on how critical this is?. Do you see this as a nice to have or are you currently stuck because you cannot run HTTP against the UCS? Tks

I am having the same issue. I don't know how everyone is not complaining about this. I had to STOP my redirect of http to https in order for NPM to recognize my UCS. Has this been fixed? Looks like the first complaint came 2 years ago. Please tell me this has been resolved.

Also the requirement link above (43116) is no longer working.

I just added a UCS on port 443? Am I missing something here?

Thought it was odd I had to tell it the port and HTTPS. This is the first UCS I have put into monitoring.

What version of NPM are you using? This works in NPM 10.2.2.

I'm running 10.2 so I guess I need to upgrade. I do not see a "Use HTTPS" checkbox like @Mike Driskell has from the screen capture above.

I will confirm soon as I get a chance to upgrade NPM.
