One of the ongoing challenges for us with Solarwinds is that a subset of our devices are not polled and only passively monitored (receive traps or syslogs). There are many posts suggesting potential work-arounds, but I have yet to find a 'guide' that provides step by step instructions for achieving this. Would love if someone who's done this provide the secret sauce (with a few examples) to de-mystify the process. Or, if this has already been done and I missed it please provide a link. Thank you!
