Location Property missing from Add custom properties?

Hello everyone,

Today i tried to add a custom property to "nodes" called "location" An error was thrown up saying " A property named "location" already exists for nodes. " However, i can not find this property anywhere. Have i gone blind?!?!?!?

Once in the Custom Property Editor, click on the Settings button across the top versus the Add button. Down on the Node Editing tab is a list of properties that are predefined.

Location is one of the predefined custom properties.

If you open up the Custom Property Editor in the system manager and click on Nodes - it will show you a list of all the properties...

If you want to assign a particular node or group of nodes to include that property - this is where it would be done.

Thanks for your quick reply. However, your instructions are exactly what i was doing before. There is no "location" field to assign to the nodes property in the custom property editor. Though, when i go to build a custom property with the description "location", it tells me its allready there....but its not! Thanks again for anything you might be able to help me out on here.
