Alerts in Orion not sending Email Alerts

Hi,

I'm new to Orion and I'm trying to setup the email alert notification. I'm starting with a basic email alert where I have it setup to send an email alert every time a node goes down. I have the Alert setting to check it every 5 min. Once I enabled the alert, it sent me two emails regarding two nodes that are currently down. This is fine because this means that the alert is working. But my concern is, I'm expecting the alert to check every 5 min and if those nodes are still down, that it will send another alert. I don't have any Alert Suppression setup.

What am I doing wrong here. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Add an additional action that doesn't take effect until 10 times the value...so 50 minutes in your case.

It will not send an additional email unless the escalation is configured. If you configured a reset action you will recieve another email when the device returns to operation.

Where do I setup the Escalation? In the Alert Suppression tab?

For testing, I turned off one of my test server and it send out an alert that the server node is down. I turned it back on, but I did not get an alert that it went back up. On the Reset Condition Tab, I just clicked on "Copy from Trigger" and changed the Node status to "Up". This is supposed to send me an email when the server comes back up, correct?

I setup the Escalation and checked "Execute this action repeatedly while the alert is triggered" and set it to 5 min.. I also checked the box "Delay the execution of this action" and set to 5 min. Will this setting send me an alert every 5 min as long as one of the nodes from my TRigger Condition tab is down?
