We've just experienced a situation where our APC customer pollers stopped polling the UPSs. They stopped at random dates / times on multiple units. Other APCs continued to poll normally. Restarting the Orion server restored the polling. We unfortunately had to discover this the hard way, after a power outage went unnoticed by us until it was to late.
So besides opening a ticket with SW, has anyone in the community found a way to alert when a custom poller fails to poll a device? Or alert when custom poller data is old (say over 30 minutes)? At least then we would know Orion has failed us again
