Hello Everyone,

Was wondering if you could help with an SQL query I have. I would like to create a report that collects the below.

- IPSSerialNumber

- IPSSigExpiry

- IPSSigVersion

Would like to include Node, IP_Address and Company

Your help will be much appreciated!

Use the Report Writer utility on the SolarWinds server to add the node name, IP address, the custom poller name and the custom poller result. You will need to add filters to restrict the output to specific custom pollers and nodes. This will display each node's custom poller in a separate row. If each of the custom pollers must appear as a column, you can use the Edit > Show SQL menu option to view the SQL used for the report. Then, modify this SQL query using a SELECT CASE statement to transpose rows to columns. You will find a sample SELECT CASE use here

Once you have the new SQL query, you can create an 'Advanced SQL Report' in the Report Writer utility using this query

Multiple Poller values can be challenging. For the Box serial # I have found that the ASSETTAG Field created by SAM works for the serial. Then you can pick out another custom poller to make it easy and not have to deal with so many inner joins.

To get the data you need the hardware health selected in your resources listing. But it is one less poller you need for that data to be brought into the report.

At this point you can then easily utilize a different poller that holds other info, like the IP Serial, or Version.

I like this way...put your related pollers in a group. If they already are keep reading anyway because this link shows how to leverage the grouping. I used to fight this as a SQL problem until I started using this approach:
