Migrating the Orion platform to a new domain

We need to change our existing NPM server with NTA and IPAM to a new domain with a remote MS-SQL database. Are there some references to this task ?

The database server also will move to the new domain.

Will a simple Stopping of Orion Services, Backup of database, Running the Configuration Wizard and restoring the database again do the job.

Any pitfalls to take care of?

I recently performed this migration. Did the database first, stop all services, backup, then restore to the new DB server. After the restore, run the config wizard and verify everything is pointed to where it should be, and then you're all set.

I actually left the primary polling engine for a little while, but the migration there was easy enough, stop services, switch domain, run configuration wizard (though I think I could have snuck by without doing so).

The caveat here is I don't use NTA or IPAM so I can't guarantee the transition would be as painless as it was for me.
