Change default Unmanaged time in NPM

Is there away to change the default durration for an unmmanged node. By default when you just click unmanage on a node the durration is 24 hours, unless you change the time.

I'm looking for away to change this to say 1 hour. That way when someone forgets to remannage the node when maintenance is done it doesn't sit unmannaged for 24 hours.

As you mentioned just click unmanage on a node details view.And have the time set for 1 hour.This changes would be applied in the database but would not show up on the GUI.It will remain as 24hours by default.If you would like to check it out,log into the database and look for the table name "Nodes".You will find the new applied settings effective for the respective nodes.

By doing so,the polling statistics would be for a halt and would resume automatically after the end time.

I think the question was more of how can the default amount of time to unmanage be changed to 1 hour instead of the default of 24 hours? I have the same question. I don't want to unmanage anything for 24 hours by default.

So, how can the default amount of time to unmanage a node be changed to 1 hour?

We are switching from ipMonitor to Orion and this is causing problems for us.

Did anyone ever get a usable answer on this ?

I find my self in a situation where it could be beneficial to change from the default 24 to a more realistic 1 hour window. It is very inconvenient to have a new tech forget to change the default value.

It would seem some one actually have been able to change it. I will try it right away..

EDIT: I can confirm the changes works. But be aware it most likely will not work after the next update, it will have to be re-done after updating.
