Hello. I've been trying to figure out how the GHL would be useful in our environment, but having a hard time. In order to populate the GHL, you have to import either from AD or CSV file. This is fine until new PCs are added to the domain. Then the GHL has to be manually updated using import. Is there not a way to automate this? There is an AD Sync function for users, but not the GHL? The other idea I had to populate the list was to create a spreadsheet with a list of PC names, for example starting from 001 - 999, then import, this way all PC names are captured, however, we're a huge, global company, with a lot of computers (15K + user base), so using a template would create a ton of PC names, however it would be broken down by region/site. I'm not sure how to utilize the Global Host List in such a large environment. So far it makes more sense for each tech to manage their own personal host list.
