Use syslog to update node status

Hi,

I currently use ServicePilot and it allows creating "Custom" objects with no associated poller. Their status is updated by sending a formatted syslog containing the name of the object and the values of its various counters.

I did not find equivalent functionality in SW.

Do the new versions of SW can update by syslog (or other) since this post syslog-and-trap-node-status ?

The only update that you can do at this time is to change the status of an interface with Trap messages.
