I have an alert set up on a Custom Poller to fire when the status of that poller reaches a certain number. It's monitoring the number of users on a a VPN. When it hits 22, the alert is supposed to fire. However, it's firing even when there are only 4 users, or 9 users, or other lower numbers. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens at least once a day in the early hours of the morning.
Has anyone experienced these false positives? Is there anyway to deal with them? I have made adjustments to the frequency of the poll, the length of time before the alert is sent, and the threshold and nothing makes a difference.
