Interface is shown as down even if the node is unmanaged

We wanted to start using the unmanage option in Orion to ignore error messages when a server is under maintenance. I did carry out some test on Orion before and worked brilliantly. Since we've updated to 9.1 sp3 the server related interfaces are displaying as down in 'Down Interfaces' filter.

Is there a way to ignore these when a server or netrwork kit is unmanaged?
