There should be a place to show the 'Unmanaged' duration for a particular node that you have set to 'Unmanaged'. Perhaps add it to the mouse-over information for that particular node?
Hello, Is there any way to determine: 1. When a node is scheduled to be "unmanaged". 2. If a node is "unmanaged", when it is due to be re-managed ("unmanage" schedule expires). I'm running Network Performance Manager 9.1 SP4 Thanks!
FYI. I have noticed some unexplained behaviour when a node is Unmanaged. It seems the IP address is still pinged and there is some snmp activity. A down and unmanaged device fails those pings and this puts the node into the Top 10 Nodes by Packet Loss resource. A node that was shutdown last week (and unmanaged) still shows…
This is a feature request to add more sophisticated calendar logic and blackout options to the unmanage function in NPM. My monitoring team has been tasked with creating a solution that will import patch schedules in an agreed upon format (.xml or spreadsheet format) into a utility that can either toggle an existing…
Hi all! I am trying to work out how long / often nodes are being put into Unmanaged mode - so we have a better idea of how accurate the availability statistics are (for aexmaple, if a node has 100% availability, but has been in Unmanaged mode for 80% of that time, how accurate is the availability?) At the moment, I have an…
I downloaded and copied the unmanageutility to the Orion subdirectory. When I run the program and after logging in I click create new task but nothing shows up under the node area. I have tried to group by all nodes and by vendor but nothing shows. Thank you for any assistance that you can give.
We have a few maps that only have one or two nodes inside them. It seems that when we unmanage everything inside a particular map, the icon indicator turns to yellow on the network map. That normally isn't an issue since most our maps have many nodes, therefore they are rarely all unmanaged at the same time. But for those…
Hi, Is it possible to have “Unplugged” status rather than down for all nodes? We have some network devices that occasionally plugged and unplugged to the network for long period of time. It would be very nice to have them in unplugged status and change poling time to ones a day for the unplugged device. And get to default…
Is there a way on the web interface to view future unmanaged schedules? For example, we have a group of servers that are going to be worked on a 6PM tonight. We have had our techs put them in unmanaged status from 6PM until 10PM but they are complaining that there is nothing on the web interface that shows they will be…
I just want to have this confirmed: When a node is set Unmanaged it does not count towards the availability of the network, right? I have had som problems with a node set to unmanaged that reports 0% uptime on the report, while it should be 100% right?
