I need some clarification on the timezone display for Solarwinds when a user logs into the web front end. Our NPM main instance is in Hungerford, GB. This is where our Web,DB, and Main Poller are. We have 3 remote pollers in the US in the Central Timezone. Can someone help clarify how data is displayed to the consumers of the main webpage?
If you add a universal poller to a node that is on a remote poller in the CDT timezone, the chart time gets reported based on the Hungerford NPM box not the remote poller server time. Is this correct?
Node charts for things like CPU, memory, and interface utilization appear to a user in the CDT timezone if its on the remote poller in the US. Is this correct? If it is why doesn't the universal device poller do this as well?
I just don't have a good understanding of how the timezone for each of the servers (web, db, npm, and remote pollers) affect the display of time to a user for charts and displays in Orion Web.
