Media files on tickets

Hello everybody ,

we are configuring our WHD company server, but the followeing questions for the community , hope that someone will share the solutions they've found.

- do you upload files directly in the tickets ? like pre-sale documents or others pdf files. or are you using external links (es. cloud services like onedrvie)

- if yes, is possible to have problems in future with a too big and havy database ? maybe there's a way to delete older files at once ?

- is there a way to paste img files from the clipboard ? avoiding to create a file and than upload it

Files can be directly uploaded to the ticket and the admin gets to decide how large the max file size is. Currently all items are stored directly in the database so you need weigh that with the max size so your db and backup people don't go crazy. There is no way to mass delete attachments unless you go into the db directly.

The text editor does support BBcode (Hidden Gems of Web Help Desk - Text Formatting with BBCode ) but not copy paste of screenshots or images.

thanks for the answer, but i already know the possibility to use BBcode , and we are looking for a method to just PASTE (ctrl+v) the img directly in the text without saving it to a file , than host it online , and then creating the bbcode.

Isn't possible, but there is a feature request you can vote on from a few years ago:

This is one of the features that WHD lacks that may drive me to another solution
