Linux script to get directory space used

Hello,

I am currently working on a template to monitor the size of some directory on one of our linux machine with a "Linux/Unix Script Monitor" but I am not able to get the value...

As you can see below, some screeshots of my configuration

I agree with Toby, you just need to update how you're printing the output. This is a doc that has some good info on custom scripts too

Have you looked at Linux-Unix Directory Size ? It requires perl, but probably meets your needs. If you want to use your script, you will need to update it to output using a specific format that includes "message" and "statistic". See Linux/Unix Script monitor for detailed information. Here is a simple example that might help describe the output needed - Sample bash script to check an individual linux process
