CPU utilization incorrect?

Howdy!

I have a Linux server in NPM consistently showing ~20% CPU utilization, but when I run top on the machine it consistently shows ~3%.

The machnie is a Dell R710, dual-quad core. Could it be that NPM is polling one CPU core?

Has anybody run accross this issue before?

So we made some tweaks to how we calculate this in v10, but you can use the UnDP to pull it today, see here for a UnDP

Update: worked a charm. :-)

We upgraded to v10 today (Congratulations guys, it looks amazing! I'm still poking around...) and as soon as we upgraded the usage shown = ~3% which agrees with the native Linux tools (top, etc).
