6509 High Response Time

I have one of my Cisco 6509 shows high response time ( above 200 ms & range between 200 To 1800 ms) which is very high for the LAN environment. When I ping the same ip that I have in solar winds, I do not see this high response time.

I am trying to figure out what Solar winds use to determine this value. Also I would like to see if other users have experience similar issue with Cisco 6509.

I would guess it is more of a load issue. I have remote connections (56k) that when traffic utilization is up the response time shoots up to 1500 ms or higher sometimes.

It could also depend on the load of the 6509 itself...

at least something to look at.

Thanks, My monitoring tool is on LAN connection to 6509. What bothers me that monitoring tools/Orion shows higher number of the response time while from the Same Box/Orion my ping response time is not that high
