NPM 9.5 Report Writer

I notice that since upgrading to version 9.5, whenever I modify a report in Report Writer and try to save the report, I get an 'error' with the following text:

'Detected usage of macro, which links to a nonexistent field in the report. Therefore WebURL, which uses this macro, will not be generated correctly.

Missing fields:

NodeID

InterfaceID'

Any ideas on how to correct this?

Hi,

Add the NodeID and InterfaceID fields in the report (Select Fields tab) and configure them to be hidden (Field Formatting tab).

It should then let you save the report.

Thanks Yann. That seemed to remove the error messages. Any idea why this is a problem now? These reports were originally created using ver. 8.5 and never had any issues.

Is this something I need to be concerned about?

Afaik, 9.5 does not recognize well some report schemas of previous version. I do not have the details.

This has impacted few reports, especially Frame Relay reports. See the URL I posted before.

As long as the report has been saved under Report Writer 9.5, there should be no more issues since its schema has been updated.

We are running NPM 10. and I am getting this very error on a Custom SQL query. The query includes NodeID and the report appears to render ok, but the error persists. ANy ideas would be greatly appreciated.
