Juniper device hardware health monitoring - SAM

I have a number of SRX model Juniper JunOS devices that I would like to do health monitoring on.  We recently had one behaving erratically and, once we finally were able to remote into it, discovered it was over 150 degrees!  Someone had sat something on top of it in the rack, cutting off cooling.  Because most of these devices are remote, being able to monitor the hardware would be very helpful.  With SAM 5.0, I was hoping this might be available.  At this time, I'm only seeing this support on server hardware.

Is anyone else monitoring and alerting on Juniper/Cisco hardware?  I really like how it shows up for my servers in SAM 5, just would like to be able to extend this out to my networking devices as well.  The "legacy" support for Cisco (none found for Juniper) is underwhelming in how it can be displayed and alerts set up for.  At least that I've been able to work out.

Before SAM brought in health monitoring of servers I used to monitor our HP server health using UnDP on some of the health OIDs and then writing alerts that checked for things not being in the "OK" state. It was also possible to write reports based on the UnDP results.

For now, this is probably your best way to monitor these devices, although i have to admit it would be nice to see the hardware health monitoring in SAM broadened to common devices like Juniper and Cisco. Hopefully someone from SolarWinds will pick up on this and let us know how possible it is and maybe add it to their list of feature requests
